With plans on expansion outside of their region, Thanyapura Resorts have chosen the Red Dragon as their next premier location. On Wednesday, 28 August 2019, the signing of the new resort has been made by Thanyapura World – the Singapore-based company for the Thanyapura brand and announced that their chosen location was none other than China’s most popular resort destination – Sanya, Hainan Province. Thanyapura Sanya will be Thanyapura’s first branded resort in China.
58 Hectares filled with World-Class Facilities
As the first branded resort in the region, the Thanyapura brand is sure to make their grand entrance in Sanya, Hainan Province. Located between Yalong and Haitang Bay, the resort holds approximately 58 hectares of land and will feature 300 hotel rooms and 250 villas; exceptional world-class sports facilities showcasing swimming, running, tennis and multi-sport fitness; a lifestyle medical clinic, catered for chronic disease reversal; and a wellness centre. Furthermore, the resort will also feature a leisure club exclusively for members; multipurpose function rooms; and various food and beverage and retail outlets.
As one of the world’s leading sports and wellness resorts, Thanyapura Phuket has attracted well-known athletes from across the globe like Maria Sharapova, two-time Ironman world champion, Patrick Langer and several national swim teams around the world as well. Thanyapura Sanya in China will mirror the same international standards that their Phuket resort has established through the years, taking the brand’s unique wellness approach beyond the Southeast Asian region.
