Singaporeans Can Now Use New Zealand’s Automated Immigration Facilities

From Feb 12, Singaporeans and New Zealand citizens can utilise the automated immigration facilities of either country.

To use New Zealand’s eGate passport control, Singaporean passport holders must be above the age of 12, and possess an ePassport.

eGates, New Zealand’s version of automated passport clearance, can be found at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown airports.

New Zealanders who are above the age of six can apply for the Frequent Traveller Programme (FTP). To be enrolled into the programme, which allows visitors to utilise Singapore’s automated immigration system, applicants must have visited Singapore at least two times in the past two years, and hold a New Zealand passport with a validity exceeding six months.
