Marvel and Star Wars Superheroes to Embark on Cruise Journey

Are you a fan of the gun blaster slinging, sword lightsabre swinging space invaders? Or the all-action world-saving Avengers that somehow disintegrate at a snap of a supervillain’s fingers?

Good news, fam!

Titled Star Wars Day at Sea and Marvel Day at Sea, the two favourite experiences will return to the Disney Cruise Line in 2020.

Between January and March next year, nine Caribbean cruises will feature the Star Wars Day at Sea event. Guests can interact with fan-favourite Star Wars characters on board, with the likes of Chewbacca, C3-P0, R2D2 and Darth Vader joining the voyage. Star Wars themed games and activities for kids and families are in store, and there are booths that sell custom Star Wars merchandise and themed food options. Finish the day with a blast at the “Summon the Force” deck party and fireworks display.

Marvel Day at Sea will take place on several cruise ships that also set sail from the period of January to March 2020. The event will feature exciting meet and greet sessions, photo opportunities, stunt shows and even a movie marathon. Avid fans can also dress up as a Marvel superhero and join the fun-filled costume parade.

Star Wars Day at Sea will happen on board Disney Fantasy sailings, while Marvel Day at Sea will occur on Disney Magic journeys. Both voyages are either Caribbean or Bahamas-bound.
