In Pictures: Alberta, Canada

Pass the northern edge of Montana into the Western Canadian border, uncover the riches of Alberta. It is a province whose landscape is littered with massive lakes, mountains and prairies amongst other feats of nature. Trodden on by people who have come and gone over the centuries, Alberta’s landscape still remains pristine. This province should be on the bucket list of anyone who lives and breathes nature.

The allure of Alberta lies in its innumerable lakes skirted with coniferous trees. Walk through the rugged terrain and breathe in gallons of fresh air, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Admire the way waterbodies reflect the colours above you and watch the shades of blue dance their way into scorching shades of yellow, reds and purples. Hold your breath as contrasting hues drip onto the surface of the lakes from the skies above, slowly deepening into a rich navy as darkness takes hold of the night sky.

Scroll through these photos to soak up the beauty of Alberta, interlaced with just a little bit of magic.
